We shot our last campaign for viva la blonde on the beach at sunset. Is there any better way to end the day in summer than taking in the water coloured Perth sky from the beach?
Shooting with the beautiful Minee was so much fun and this time we decided to mix it up with part digital and part film shots.
The film half of the shoot was shot by Cooper from @shootswithcoops and the digital side as always covered by our favourite babe Courtney Holloway.
How we created Minee's Blonde look
To prep for the shoot Chantelle coloured Minee’s hair with a creamy golden blonde mix to compliment her warm skin tone for summer.
Prior to shooting, Chantelle styled Minee’s hair into messy beach waves by initially blow drying for volume and then plaiting small random sections of the hair. To set the waves Chantelle ran a flat iron over each plait and waited for it to cool down before unplaiting and spraying with a texturizing spray.
Chantelle used the Cloud Nine Original Iron available online here.
The unique 360 degree swivel cord on the iron allows for unhindered movement while the Silky smooth black plates contain the latest ceramic heating technology.
The Kevin Murphy Doo Over is a light, flexible hairspray that adds shine and hold for a sultry bedroom ‘I woke up like this’ look. The specialised formula leaves hair light and moisturised whilst maintaining hold and structure. It’s perfect for longer lasting waves and curls!
The Kevin Murphy Doo Over Spray is available to purchase at either viva la blonde salon; Perth City or North Fremantle.
